THE BUZZ would not be possible
without the help, understanding, devotion, and support of the following groups, and/or individuals:
Barbara Schifter who told me a story about her niece who owns
Tribeca Treats in NYC...and how I should think about doing something like that...
Melody & Jody at Hair Times who insisted I ask the
owner of A Cool Dip if the business was for sale....
My husband Doug for supporting me every single step of the way..
My brother Brock Merwin who designed the layout, found and bartered
the counters, gate, wrought iron and more and gave up countless weekends doing the construction solo....

introduced me to Allison McGaw, who became our first pastry chef extraordinaire...

the ball rolling more than once !

want to be treated" when we hit snag after Murphy's Law snag....

buffing out the floors, running errands, doing countless spread sheets, brochures and flyers and so much more....
Debbie Metz of Metz Electric & Gene Smith...she is amazing,
an artist with all things electrical..she didn't just come in and give me an estimate..she helped create the warmth and got
me excited about what we could do with the lighting to update the space....she did exactly what she said she was going to
do and then some...
Elizabeth Collier at CustomInk for finding us the coolest Italian
cotton T-shirts for our staff....
The Frederick News Post - They called me once a month to see
how things were going and came out to visit shortly after we opened..Ed Waters did a great story about us and they have been
supportive ever since...

to Marty Cowan who created our logo.....and Keir Knight for dreaming up "Free-Bee's" and more...
My sister Maureen Nichols and her husband Bill, who have been gifting
and eating my sweets for years and were also our first customers !
Our good friends Tom Moore, Todd & Hillary Rimel, Sarah
McGaw, Matthew Newcomer, Billy Fowler for hanging shelves, framing and hanging pictures, doing artwork and chalkwork on our
menu boards, hanging those 100 pound monsters, changing out dozens of florescent lightbulbs, putting together our tables &
chairs and so much more.....
My boys Colt & Aaron who hung out, cleaned up, washed dishes,
scooped ice cream, took out trash, and put up with me working night and day to make our dream a reality...I hope you've learned
